Meet the Davenport Family. It's so great to build relationships with your clients and capture all the milestones in life. Cameron captured the beginning of their life together with their engagement and then Wedding photography. I now had the pleasure of photographing their maternity session.

Cute little Kate

Kate is almost 1! Her mommy wanted to get photos for her Birthday Invite as well as capture this sweet age. There are certain ages that are so special to capture and this is one of my favorites. She is crawling everywhere and smiling. Such a happy girl.

Landon

Meet Landon. Who knew life could be so happy?! Ha, I just love the smiles this little guy was pulling. We had a ton of fun shooting and had the perfect timeframe in between pouring rain. After meeting his parents I knew they were willing to shoot anywhere. I took them to a spot that I have been eyeing for some time and driven by numerous times. I knew Landon would be great anywhere with his personality. It doesn't take much for a backdrop when you have an awesome model! Thanks for being so awesome Landon. You Rock little Mr.!!

Sydney

Meet Sydney! Everything about this sweet girl is oh so kissable. I love the chubby cheeks, hands, toes, knees........! Sydney was just about 1 years old when we did this shoot - such a fun fun age. We did these at one of my favorite times of day and the sun was so golden and perfect. We are so blessed to have that amazing California light. Another thing I love is her simple timeless dress. Before a shoot parents often ask - "What should I have them wear?" I suggest something that is plain and light in coloring, something that you can look at 40 years down the road and it's not outdated.

At a Glance

On November 23rd 2009 I gave birth to a beautiful chubby little bear; as we like to call him. Asher Ingalls entered the world at 8lbs 12oz 21in. "Wait! Back up!" You say. "November?! Has it really been that long since you have blogged?" *blush* Yes it has. Other than baby brain life has been very full. I have been adjusting to mommy-hood, managing a business, moving, working alongside my husband, keeping a house in order, and trying to keep a sliver left for myself. Now that our little guy is 6 months new (time flies!!) I feel much more normal and I feel as if things are really taking shape and schedules are being formed. I have help a couple times a week so I can work on the business and one AMAZING husband. We really are so blessed to be able to share responsibilities of raising our baby. He gets lots of Daddy time during the week as we coordinate our schedules with work and shoots. I started shooting clients again a couple months after Asher was born - I cannot wait to share some highlights with you! But first - A glance at our first 6 months with our little bear.

Love at first sight!

With Asher being born during the Holidays Cameron mostly worked from home. He couldn't stand being alone in an office when there was a cuddly little person at home. This is how he often responded to emails.
